Dr. Kostrewski is originally from Long Island, New York. She attended Stony Brook University in New York where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in English. Prior to veterinary school, she gained skills working as a veterinary assistant and a wildlife rehabilitator. She moved to Florida to attend the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated with high honors and a certificate in Shelter Medicine. Throughout her years in veterinary school, she spent her elective hours performing spay and neuter surgeries for shelter animals and learning extracurricular dentistry skills. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her rescue pup Hazel, playing trivia and trying new restaurants with her boyfriend and visiting her family.
